Marcel “PimpDip” Brown – Founder
Marcel’s Counter-Strike story began in 2001, during the transition from 1.5 to 1.6. Competing under the name “Doc.Blood,” he played through the days of CAL and CEVO, leading a team called IRG – Irrelevant Gamers. While not a household name, those years laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to the scene.
Today, under the tag “PimpDip,” Marcel continues to pour into Counter-Strike as the founder of Conscious Gaming — a North American organization competing in ESEA Main, with an expanding Academy roster. An entrepreneur at heart, Marcel is focused on building infrastructure that lasts: real teams, real opportunity, and a real future for NA Counter-Strike.
tekz – Strategic Partner
Tekz first touched Counter-Strike in 2010 with 1.6 — the only game that would run on his school laptop. He wasn’t great at first, but he kept coming back. Over time, under the tag “tekz,” he built and led teams at the high school, collegiate, and amateur levels.
He’s deeply committed to preserving LAN culture and making sure the next generation gets to experience the same offline grind that shaped the best players of the past. Outside the game, Tekz is a Fortune 100 analyst and avid skier — his version of surfing, Colorado-style.
